Exploring not only the ideas of “la vera cucina italiana” - authentic Italian Cuisine - he demonstrates the art of fresh pasta making, rice/risotto and presents some of his signature dishes: Carbonara au Koque & Violet Risotto. May 24, from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm, the Top Italian Wines – 2016 Special Award will be in the spotlight – a selection of nine wines, the Best of the Best, a synthesis of top Italian production, nine stories and nine symbols of Italy’s wine scene, selected from over 40,000 wines tasted. Many of these labels are already unfindable and sold out, so it will be one of the last opportunities to taste some of the most sought-after expressions of the Italian Vineyard. The seminar will be led by Marco Sabellico, senior editor of the guide.

The Gambero Rosso Masterclass on Top Italian Spirits tasting
On May 26, at 10:00 am, a new seminar is offered, this time dedicated to this exclusive choice of 10 Italian Top Spirits. They will be presented and explained during this masterclass led by the well-known Master of Wine Marco Seballico, editor in chief, and by one of the most famous Italian bartenders Massimo D’Adezzio. The masterclass will take place on Thursday May 26 from 10.00 am to 11.30 am at the Academy Room 209, this event is by invitation only. Vinexpo Hong Kong, now in its seventh edition, is the key event for international Asian operators, the event that, together with the fair, fills the city with experts from the entire Asian world, including China, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore.
