Traditional hand-stretched bread-sticks made exclusively from water, flour, salt and yeast, a little lard and top quality, organic extra virgin olive oil entirely produced in Italy. With their subtle flavour and unmistakeable fragrance, they team up perfectly with any type of food. During the leavening process, the fermenting dough decomposes the flour starch and transforms it into ethanol and carbon dioxide. A warm environment causes the dough to increase in volume and the carbon dioxide remains trapped in the gluten structure, creating bubbles, the so-called air cells of the leavening process, which make the mixture soft. Ingredients: farina di grano tipo "00", acqua, olio extra vergine d'oliva biologico 100% italiano, lievito di birra, sale marino e malto.
