Whole pork legs from heavy pigs bred in Italy which are normally used for PDO products, namely Prosciutto di Parma and Prosciutto di San Daniele. These specialities are designed for high cuisine and catering. In line with ancient traditions, pork legs are salted by injecting an exclusive Levoni brine throughout the meat, left to rest and subsequently slowly cooked in steam ovens. To further enhance the taste it is recommended to hand slice the product and serve it cold or to warm it up for a few minutes at about 80°C.
