Tenuta Sant' Anna
Ever since the 1970s, Tenuta Sant'Anna has been stretching the limits of innovation. The care put into selecting the varietal wine, into making the most of the territory as the focal point of continuing research, the attention to detail, all constitute the foundations on which Tenuta Sant' Anna has modelled its success. The tradition goes on, and it is this perpetual innovative motion that is the guiding force behind the company because, in order to be really and truly enterprising, there has to be a historical background. Tenuta Sant'Anna was founded in the early sixties in Loncon di Annone Veneto, right in the heart of the DOC Lison Pramaggiore area, where the tradition of wine-making has remained deeply-rooted since the times of the ancient Romans.
Veneto
Veneto is a wine region in north-eastern Italy. The region is protected from the harsh northern European climate by the Alps, the foothills of which form the Veneto's northern extremes. These cooler climes are well-suited to white varieties like Garganega (the main grape for Soave wines) while the warmer Adriatic coastal plains and river valleys are where the renowned Valpolicella, Amarone and Bardolino DOC reds are produced. One of Italy's leading wine schools, Conegliano, is based here and the nation's most important wine fair, Vinitaly, takes place each spring in Verona.
